About Anthworks
We build technology around the way businesses work.
Anthworks is a software, product development and SaaS company that builds industry-focused products, enterprise systems, custom software and modern applications. But the work starts before the technology. It starts with understanding the business.
Who we are
What Anthworks actually is.
We build operations software for industries where the work happens in yards, plants, quarries and vehicles rather than at a desk. Six of them, deliberately: transport, RMC, crusher and quarry, bricks, education and manufacturing.
The work takes five shapes — an industry product, an enterprise system, custom software, automation, or a web and mobile application. Which one a business needs is an output of understanding the operation, never an input to it.
We are a young company, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise. What we have is depth in a small number of industries and a method we will describe in full before you commit to anything.
Why Anthworks exists
Businesses deserve technology that understands them.
A transport operator, an RMC plant and a brick kiln have almost nothing in common operationally. Yet they are all sold the same software, with the same fields, renamed.
The result is predictable. The system gets used for billing and ignored for operations, the real numbers stay in a diary, and the business ends up running on the thing it was trying to replace.
Anthworks exists to build the other kind of system: one that uses your vocabulary, matches your process, and is worth opening on a Tuesday morning.
Our mission
To help businesses operate and grow more efficiently by understanding their real operational challenges and building modern software that solves them.
Our vision
A future where businesses in every industry can operate with greater clarity, control and efficiency, without being forced into software that was designed for someone else.
Our long-term ambition
To grow Anthworks into a next-generation, globally trusted technology company that builds enterprise-grade products and solutions for businesses across industries — and to do it by solving real problems at meaningful scale rather than by widening the brochure.
What we believe
Every business is different.
The solution should begin by understanding that business. We don't believe an organisation should be forced into a generic software structure simply because that structure already exists.
Every business is different
Different industries have different workflows. Different teams face different constraints. The solution should begin by understanding that business, not by picking a product from a shelf.
Technology should adapt to the business
When standard software doesn't fit, changing the operation to suit the software usually costs more than it saves, and quietly removes whatever made the business good at what it does.
Software should create clarity, not complexity
If a system makes people work harder to record what they already knew, it has failed, regardless of how many features it has.
Delivery is the beginning, not the end
Operations change after go-live. A system that can't change with them becomes the next thing someone has to work around.
Better technology comes from
Better understanding
Time in the operation before a line is written. The version with the workarounds, not the version in the manual.
Better questions
Not what features do you want, but where does information stop moving and what does that cost.
Better research
The industry, the constraints, the statutory requirements and the options — studied before anything is recommended.
Better design
Workflows, data and interfaces shaped around the person doing the entering, who usually has thirty seconds and one free hand.
Better engineering
A current, typed, documented stack chosen for the requirement, and a system another engineer could take over.
Continuous improvement
Delivery as the start of the relationship. Operations change, and a system that cannot change with them gets worked around.
What makes us different
Business-first. Not software-first.
We don't begin by asking what software we can sell. We begin by asking what problem we're trying to solve. That difference decides everything downstream of it.
Business-first, not software-first
We don't begin by asking what features you want. We begin by asking how the business works, where information stops moving, and what it costs.
Industry depth over breadth
We work in a small number of industries and know them properly. A vendor who serves every sector equally serves none of them deeply.
Research before recommendation
Bottlenecks, repeated work and the places visibility breaks down get identified and written up before anything is proposed. You can disagree with the analysis before you have paid for a system built on it.
Built for how work actually happens
Entries made at the weighbridge, in the yard, on site. Software that assumes everyone sits at a desk gets filled in late and wrong.
Modern technology, chosen not collected
A current, maintainable stack picked for the requirement rather than for novelty. The test is whether another engineer could take the system over, because one day someone will.
The relationship starts at go-live
Operations change: a second plant, a new rule, a customer who wants something different. We keep improving the system as that happens rather than treating delivery as the finish line.
The six we work in
- Transport & Logistics
- RMC & Construction Materials
- Crusher, Quarry & Aggregates
- Bricks & Building Materials
- Education & Schools
- Manufacturing
The list is short on purpose and grows slowly. Each operation we build in teaches us something the next one starts with.
Our future
Solve today's challenges. Build for tomorrow's opportunities.
Industries evolve. Customer expectations rise. Rules change, technology moves, and the thing that was a competitive advantage three years ago becomes the baseline. We don’t believe in building a solution and stopping there.
So we keep looking for better workflows, better automation, better systems and better ways to solve the same problems — and the products carry what we learn forward, which is why the sixth deployment in an industry is better than the first.
We never stop looking for a better way to move forward.
Our partnership philosophy
When our customers grow,Anthworks grows with them.
We don’t see software as the end of a relationship. We see it as the start of a longer one. As a business grows, its systems have to grow with it, and we would rather be there for that than hand over a build and disappear.
We don’t measure our work by the systems we have delivered. We measure it by whether the business is running better than it was.
Let's understand your business.
Every business has challenges. The first step isn't choosing software. It's understanding the problem.
